The Frontier Bowmen club has an indoor range (10m, 15m & 18m) as well as an outdoor range, and also we are affiliated with the Regina Wildlife Federation.  The outdoor range is new to Frontier Bowmen and is located north of the Regina Wildlife Federation.  The facility has a 24 hour access with a lock at the front gate.  All members who wish to shoot here will have access to the code for the gate.  Frontier Bowmen also has access to an outdoor field range (10m – 90m), walking range and crossbow/broadhead range at the Regina Wild Life Federation.

General Archery Range Etiquette

  • Inspect your equipment prior to shooting.
  • Wait for others to stop shooting before you start approaching to retrieve your arrows.  Make sure all archers are on the same page and the range is safe before proceeding.
  • When approaching the target area to retrieve arrows, care must be taken not to contact an arrow remaining in the target and be aware of other archers as they remove their arrows from a target.  The arrow may free up abruptly, so please be cautious.
  • Always ensure that the archery target area is clear before shooting commences.
  • When shooting with multiple archers on the line at same time, respect your lane and be careful your equipment doesn’t encroach into the next archer’s space.  Also it is respectful to not immediately leave your lane when done shooting if another archer beside you is at full draw.   Just stand still until they complete their shot.
  • Always face a target/wall when drawing a bow, never draw with anyone in front of you.  Draw straight back while pointed down range incase your bow does release prematurely.
  • Only shoot 3 arrows if other archers on the line at same time so nobody has to wait for extended periods.
  • The Club is not responsible for the loss or breakage of your equipment while in use at the Club’s ranges.
  • You are welcome to use the club’s archery tools in the kitchen/shop if you are comfortable, but keep the tool area tidy, and tools are NOT TO LEAVE the facility.
  • We are a volunteer ran club, so we appreciate everyone that is able to help at our work parties.  But please also be respectful for the facilities, targets, bathrooms, kitchen, waiting area, etc, so others don’t have to clean up behind you.
